During our normal course of business or once you have become a client of Natural Health Solutions we may use, without limitation, consultants, medical doctors or other health professionals, computer technicians, agencies, bookkeepers, accountants or lawyers, and while performing their work, have limited access to some of your personal information. We restrict their access to any personal information or data we hold as much as is reasonably possible. We also have their assurance that they follow an appropriate privacy policy.  

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

To best serve your needs, we collect certain information about you that may include, without limitation, from emails, phone conversations, and/or office visits.  The information we collect may include, without limitation, your name, address, telephone number, and email address. When you become an individual client of Natural Health Solutions, we also collect personal data about you which may include, without limitation, your height, weight, age, pregnancy status, measurements, diet and exercise, blood type, mineral status, HIV positive status, AIDS status, any illnesses or spreadable diseases that can be acquired by contact, contacting corporate information, testimonials, medical information, information regarding your insurance coverage, and your credit card number. Personal information and data are collected at various times including, without limitation, when you register for a program, service, test, analysis, consultation or gift certificate, complete your personal history on the website, communicate by an email, letter, telephone or in person with Natural Health Solutions, submit a testimonial to Natural Health Solutions, participate in a marketing survey, promotion or event, contact us, or navigate the website. We also collect personal and data information about you, without limitation, through various forms, questionnaires, quiz, journal, exercises, worksheets, saliva hormone analysis, food & environmental allergy testing, blood type analysis, hair analysis, reflexology and PH balance self-test strips so that we may provide you with nutrition assessment, dietary advice and follow up services as well as help potential and existing clients communicate their nutrition and lifestyle needs. Natural Health Solutions also collects information from you in order to respond to your questions before, during and after our services have been received. Also, you may be receiving ongoing services for months or years for which previous historical records are sometimes helpful. Natural Health Solutions retains your personal information and data for a minimum of 7 years after last activity to enable us to respond to those situations. All information is collected on a voluntary basis and with your consent. By using Natural Health Solutions programs, services, tests, analysis and consultations (including our website) you consent to the collection and use of your medical information as well as your personal information and data by Natural Health Solutions for the purposes, without limitation, as set out in this privacy policy.

USING THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We want to provide you with the best possible internet experience and fulfill your orders exactly as you have requested. Additionally, we want to make your experience with Natural Health Solutions a pleasant and positive one. It is not a practice of Natural Health Solutions to sell, rent, or trade personal information. In order to service our clients we work with other companies to provide certain services, including without limitation credit card processing, IT consulting, printing, shipping, internet services, e-commerce, public and media relations. We make every effort to provide these companies with only the information they need to perform their services. Generally, these companies are obliged to treat the information you supply with confidentiality and are prohibited from sharing this information with anyone other than Natural Health Solutions. Natural Health Solutions is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. It is our intent to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you. We use a variety of current technologies and processes for protection of information we collect. Any electronic data is only transmitted via email internet communication with prior consent of any person to whom it relates. Paper information is always secured in a restricted or locked area. When you make a purchase through paypals secure website, your transactional information is transmitted in a safe, encrypted format. Please refer to your banks and paypals website to view the bank and paypals security measures and safe guards regarding their e-commerce transactions. Please note that while we take appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the personal information and data   that you provide to us, no transmission over the internet can ever be guaranteed secure. Consequently, please note that we cannot guarantee the security of any personal information and data that you transfer over the internet to us. Computer hardware containing personal information is either under supervision or secured by password access control.

RETENTION AND DESTRUCTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Natural Health Solutions has a need to retain collected data for a given period of time to ensure we can answer questions you might have about services provided. We may also need to provide accountability to external regulatory bodies. We keep client files for a minimum of 7 years, after which, we may at our discretion remove their data and personal information or when asked by an individual, we will remove such data immediately. Natural Health Solutions also keeps personal information relating to general communications with people who are not clients, newsletters, seminars and marketing activities for at least 7 years after any such activity is over. Paper files containing personal information and data is destroyed by shredding and any electronic data by deleting it and when the hardware is discarded, we ensure our hard disk drive is non-operational.

Natural Health Solutions may also ask you to provide evidence that our files are inaccurate. When we agree that an error has been identified, we will make necessary corrections while notifying anyone to whom this information was sent. If we do not agree that we have made an error, we will still agree to include in our file, a brief statement from you concerning any such in accuracy. You may also request that we forward that supplement to anyone else who may have received that prior data.
